Donbasenergo Public Joint Stock Company took stock of the activities it completed in 2019. The financial haul of operations before tax is the UAH 82,005 thousand loss. At the same time, the net loss stands at UAH 68,997 thousand. EBITDA for 2019 is UAH 63,912 thousand, which is due to the deteriorating business operations, while at the same time making positive adjustments to the reserves of expenditure and securities.

Last year, the main type of PJSC Donbasenergo products was electrical power, with a share of 99.5% of the total volume of marketable products. As of 2019, the Company holds a market share of 2.2% of all electricity and 7.5% of all heat generated in Ukraine.

PJSC Donbasenergo's main structural unit as the source of funds for its financial and economic activities is the Sloviansk TPP, which generated 3,371,675 thousand kWh of electricity, of which 3,044,188 thousand kWh was sold. The electricity generation target approved by the Supervisory Board for 2019 has been completed by 105.5%.

Over the reporting period, the Company remitted UAH 717,293 thousand of statutory payments to various Ukrainian treasuries and foundations. UAH 169,867 thousand of capital investments, 97.3% of the planned figure, were successfullly disbursed.

Over the past year, "net current assets" decreased by UAH 591.3 million compared to 2018 and amounted to UAH 2969.1 million as a result of a decline in the reach of SE Energorynok settlements for the electricity released before June 06, 2019, and PJSC Donbasenergo repaying previously attracted UAH 442.877 thousand advances and loans.

Last year the Company's average number of employees was 2,439, which is 19 more than in 2018.

The overall costs of on-the-job and industrial safety at PJSC Donbasenergo in 2019 was UAH 17,246 thousand.

For reference: As of March 01, 2020, 60.86% holder of PJSC Donbasenergo is ENERGOINVEST HOLDING Private Joint Stock Company, 25% + 1 share are held by the state represented by the State Property Fund of Ukraine, 14.14% holders are other minority shareholders.

PJSC Donbasenergo unites two power plants: Sloviansk and Starobeshevo TPP (the latter has been located in the territory beyond the control of Ukraine since 2014). Since March 2017, due to the loss of control over the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, annual performance indicators of assets located there are not included in Donbasenergo consolidated records of accounts.

The installed capacity of Sloviansk TPP is 880 MW.
