PJSC Donbasenergo abandoned the contracted supplies of domestic gas coal (grade G) in favor of the state-owned energy company Centrenergo due to the repairs in Power Unit 7 of Sloviansk TPP lasting about 65 days.
As far as we know, just yesterday, on January 20, the first cars of black fuel were shipped from Mine No. 1-3 'Novogrodiska'. It is planned to ship about 25 KT of G grade coal to Centrenergo by late January.
Now Donbasenergo is negotiating the supply of A grade coal with the state energy company.
For reference: As of January 01, 2020, 60.86% holder of PJSC Donbasenergo is ENERGOINVEST HOLDING Private Joint Stock Company, 25% + 1 share are held by the state represented by the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
PJSC Donbasenergo unites two power plants: Sloviansk and Starobeshevo TPP (the latter has been located in the territory beyond the control of Ukraine since 2014). Since March 2017, the performance indicators of assets located in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region have not been included in the Consolidated Financial Statements of Donbasenergo due to the loss of control over them.
The total installed capacity of Sloviansk TPP is 880 MW.
