Donbasenergo's Anti-Crisis Council now put on hold
27-01-2022

The Anti-Crisis Council's activities have been suspended, according to Donbasenergo. It was previously established to avoid a man-made and social emergency, as well as to reduce the risks and consequences associated with the Sloviansk TPP's extended emergency shutdown of generating equipment, which occurred on January 17, 2021.

The company used a temporary procedure for approving and concluding contracts, as well as making payments, throughout the year, and a rehabilitation plan was drawn up and agreed upon.

Today, Donbasenergo's financial situation has stabilized partially as a result of the well-coordinated efforts of all structures. The company, in particular, has met all the legal deadlines for paying wages and has fully repaid the debt. The process of making current payments to various budgets has started. The company's financial plan for 2022-2024 has been approved, and debt repayment schedules to creditors are being implemented.

At this point, the Anti-Crisis Council has completed all the tasks assigned to it.
