The successful partnership between PJSC Donbasenergo and MIM (International Management Institute) - Kyiv Business School continues. On December 11, 2019, another 24 heads of structural units of Sloviansk TPP defended their graduation projects within the framework of the Management and Leadership Program held by joint efforts with the Business School.

Sloviansk TPP administrators developed leadership skills and knowledge over the course of 9 months. Business games, live cases, consulting and individual projects, based on real problems, will encourage the participants of the educational program to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom in practice.

The thesis defence became the final training phase of Sloviansk TPP managers under the program rendered by MIM-Kyiv Business School, a longstanding Donbasenergo's partner. To date, more than 200 company employees have already been qualified in this business school's various programs.

The prestigious Excellence Awards 2018 of the International MBA Association in the category “Partnership of Business School and Corporation”, which was awarded to Donbasenergo and MIM-Kyiv in 2018, confirmed the fruitful cooperation. The Ukrainian tandem surpassed the awards of China, Great Britain and Poland business schools in the short list, becoming an example not only of effective business collaboration, but also of true friendship, resulting in many years of high-quality training of the energy generating company's personnel.

For reference: As of December 01, 2019, 60.86 % holder of PJSC Donbasenergo is ENERGOINVEST HOLDING Private Joint Stock Company, 25 % + 1 share are held by the state represented by the State Property Fund of Ukraine, 14.14 % holders are other minority shareholders.

PJSC Donbasenergo unites two power plants: Sloviansk and Starobeshevo TPP (the latter has been located in the territory beyond the control of Ukraine since 2014). Since March 2017, due to the suspension of management, annual performance indicators of assets located in the temporarily occupied Donetsk region are not included in Donbasenergo records of accounts.

The installed capacity of Sloviansk TPP is 880 MW.
