There is still a lot of construction going on at the site of St. Spiridon's Temple. The reinforcement cages of the sails of openwork arches that form the base of the octagon, the walls of which will crown the central dome, have already been done. Walls of arched gables (exterior walls of the temple that repeat the curves of the internal vaults) and the second floor of the bell tower are being brickworked.

At present, work is being done to insulate the walls with basalt boards. The main qualities of this type of insulation is environmental friendliness, fire resistance, high sound and heat insulation, warping resistance.

"In the future, the new temple will be able to accommodate more than 100 parishioners in the central hall, which will be more than 80 square meters in size, during festive services. The basement will house a lower hall, the crypt. Rites of baptism are its main purpose.

The temple also has a choir, a special space for up to 15 singers. The semicircular vault of the cloister will favor good acoustics," says Father Maxim, the rector of the St. Spiridon's Temple.

Construction work on the site does not stop even on weekends.
