At the final meeting, representatives of the certification authority highlighted high interest of Donbassenergo in the positive result, which ensured the success of the joint work. Promptness in providing information, including the information on the eliminated potential inconsistencies, a high level of staff’s knowledge and, most importantly, understanding of the principles and mechanisms of the EMS and own role in ensuring the functioning of the management system, the condition of the facilities in the territory of the plant – all this became a convincing basis for a positive opinion of the auditors.
Earlier, Donbassenergo adopted the Environmental Policy and Quality Policy. These documents became a declaration of the Company’s mission and goals in two strategic business areas – increasing environmental responsibility and minimizing the impact of production on the natural potential of the region of presence, ensuring the quality of the generated electricity and managing all generation-related processes.
